Thanks for your feedback.

How are you trying to open the document --

  1. From the list of recent documents inside Word?
  2. From the list of recent documents on your Start Menu?
  3. From a shortcut on your Desktop that yous created?
  4. Past going to Documents (My Documents), finding the certificate and double-clicking information technology?

If you haven't already done and then, utilize method 4 above and study what happens.

If you can't find the certificate in My Documents, yous'll take to search for it.  In that location are several means you tin search:

  1. Click Get-go, type a portion of the document'southward proper name into the Search box
  2. Open Documents (or, if you remember you saved the certificate somewhere else, press the Windows Logo Key and East simultaneously and double-click on "Local Disc (C:)"), and so type a portion of the document'south name into the Search box in the upper correct corner of the window
  3. For a faster, easier to configure search, download free Amanuensis Ransack:  https://world wide web.mythicsoft.com/agentransack

Cheers for your feedback.

I take the aforementioned issue equally of today, I had a document of 200 pages saved to the calculator itself no usb, no ane drive. Everyday I utilise this file and today I click to open up it and I get "Deplorable, we couldn't notice your file, Was it removed, renamed or deleted? and so it gives me the file name under it.  How can a document of a year of a sudden disappear west/out a trace, its not in the Recycling Bin and I have tried search and zilch. It has literally vanished. All that information technology left is the name of the file on recent when I open Word.

I renewed the Microsoft Word because its yearly expired but that was days ago I don't recollect that would be the issue. I need to know what happened to that file it was 200 pages of piece of work.

Thank you for your feedback.

How (and in what folder) did y'all endeavour to search for information technology?  What did yous use as the search term?

If you "renewed Microsoft Word," are y'all maybe using Word as a role of Office 365?  And if so, is information technology possible that when y'all "renewed" it your relieve settings reverted to the Office 365 default and thus you saved the file to your online OneDrive?

If y'all're certain that y'all had (at least previously) saved the file to a folder on your hard drive, you may well be able to recover a previous version of information technology.  Meet this (read the whole thing): https://www.howtogeek.com/56891/use-windows-7s-previous-versions-to-go-back-in-time-and-save-your-files/
